
Nominations Now Being Accepted for the William S. Green Lifetime Achievement Award

Heritage United Way is pleased to accept nominations for the William S. Green
Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was established in 1999 to honor Bill Green's
lifetime of service to the United Way and to the Greater Manchester community.
Bill was an attorney and a founding partner of the Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green law firm.
He was also well known for his philanthropic actions serving his community and the
state in a variety of roles throughout his lifetime.
To receive this prestigious award, an individual or family must demonstrate that they are:
Committed: Honoree should be an example of dedicated volunteer service to the United Way
and/or the Health and Human Service Field.
Outstanding: Honoree should be unsurpassed in voluntary service both in providing
leadership and by actual personal voluntary service.
Sustained: Honoree should demonstrate a high level of volunteer service and leadership
over an extended period of time. Not necessarily with one agency or position.
Inspirational: Honoree's personal commitment should have motivated and inspired others
to serve.
Tangible: Honoree's actions and examples of service should be clearly identifiable.

All nominations are due to Heritage United Way by Friday, February 5, 2010.
The honoree will be announced on March 3, 2010 at Heritage United Way's
Campaign Celebration event at the Center of NH/Radisson Hotel.
