Patrick Tufts to Participate in Local Dancing with the Stars Competition

New Hampshire’s biggest and brightest are putting their dancing shoes on to compete 
in the first annual ‘Dancing with the Local Stars’ competition, being held on 
April 10, 2010 from 1 p.m. –  3 p.m. at the Mall of New Hampshire in Macy’s court.   

The ultimate dancing competition will showcase a star-studded lineup with host emcee

Mike Morin of WZID, and includes dance performances by WZID’s Suzanne Roantree;

Lisa Michaud, Executive Director, American Red Cross (Manchester Chapter); Ron Dupont,

Owner, Red Oak Apartment Homes; Patrick Tufts, CEO, Heritage United Way; Al Kaprielian,

meteorologist for MCTV; and Josh Judge, meteorologist for WMUR.   

The six star competitors will kick up their heels with Royal Palace Dance Studio 
instructors, who have been preparing the local stars for the competition over the 
past four weeks. Live performances by Ricco Barr and the Jump N Jive Review will 
be provided for each of the stars’ dance routine, who will be judged on technique, 
personality and difficulty by celebrity judges Tracy Caruso of WZID’s, the 
Union Leader’s John Clayton and Kriss Soterion of Kriss Cosmetics.   

The winning contestant will receive a $250 American Express Simon Gift Card that 
will be donated to a charity of their choosing. 
Audience members will also get the chance to vote for their favorite local star 
p
erformer both at the Mall of New Hampshire and on the mall’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mallofnewhampshire.com#!/MallofNewHampshire?ref=ts 
Door prizes will be raffled throughout the event and additional performances will 
also be held by the country western dance group, Midnight Rodeo Bar, who perform
weekly at the Yard restaurant.
